On New Year’s Eve our dear friend and co-fighter Marta Robertson-Smyth passed away. She was surrounded by family and died peacefully after battling a very aggressive cancer. Our hearts are heavy with sadness. However, they are also full of the life, love, and lessons Marta shared with us in Climate Convergence and beyond.
Marta’s family will be organizing an online funeral which everyone is welcomed to observe. Climate Convergence also thought it was important to create a space for the many community members whose lives Marta touched to come together to share and honour her life and work together.
Please share this invitation widely. We look forward to seeing everyone, and contributions of words, poetry, music, or art to this online event honouring Marta all are welcome!
