SATURDAY, MARCH 13
11am
Holmes Creek Camp
North Road and Delstre Ave.
Coquitlam

Over the past two weeks, Trans Mountain has increased TMX pipeline construction and is bullying and bulldozing its way into the Lower Mainland. Some of their recent lowlights include:

– Pursuing the persecution and imprisonment of Indigenous Land Defenders in Kamloops and Vancouver. This includes the 90-day prison sentence of Stacey Gallagher.

– Widespread documented Covid-19 protocol violations, worker injuries and one worker death.

– Demanding to bypass City of Burnaby bylaw requirements to cut down thousands of trees.

– Holding closed door meetings to force the Colony Farm Park in Coquitlam to be turned into a giant construction laydown area.

All to build a taxpayer funded $20 billion climate disaster pipeline our planet can’t support!

For the past 10 years consistent public action has been able to prevent the pipeline from being built, now is the time to stand up and making sure that people across the Lower Mainland know what Trans Mountain is trying to keep secret.

Join us at one of the most recent sites of TMX pipeline destruction, and continued resistance.

People will be able to see for themselves some of the damage that the pipeline construction has already caused, and make sure that the TMX pipeline does not go unopposed.People will also have an opportunity to visit and see the route to the treehouse where Timothee has been protesting for almost three months.

*** Trans Mountain doesn’t care about Covid-19 safety, but we do. Masks and social distancing are required. Everyone will have a safe place to protest. There will be some exciting new ways to stay socially distant and connected during the action. Families welcome!
