In a summer characterized by record-breaking heatwaves, the government of Canada and the Crown corporation Trans Mountain are attempting to go full steam ahead with building a tar sands pipeline in a climate emergency. People along the pipeline route from Alberta to Vancouver are standing up in defense of Indigenous rights and the planet.

Construction of the Trans Mountain Expansion (TMX) pipeline is taking place across the Lower Mainland. Trans Mountain is preparing to drive pipe under the Fraser River, through Burnaby Mountain, and through the neighborhoods of thousands of residents in Surrey, New Westminster, Coquitlam and Burnaby.

Now is the time to keep mobilizing community and build broad support to stop the drilling and stop the TMX pipeline
once and for all!
