In September 2025, Climate Convergence launched climate justice postcards addressed to Prime Minister Carney and BC Premier Eby. These postcards can be downloaded and printed below, or you can contact us and we will send any quantity you request in the mail for you. For more info and to participate in the campaign, send an email to climateconvergence604@gmail.com or call/message 604-518-7361.

People can send postcards as often as they want to Ottawa (no stamp required) or Victoria (postage required). It is a pressure campaign on Canadian Prime Minister Carney and BC Premier Eby and also a public education campaign. Folks can take selfies and share them on social media while mailing the cards, and they can be handed out at actions and events to engage with people and encourage them to take action to demand:

No New Pipelines in a Climate Emergency!
Stop LNG Fracked Gas Expansion in BC!

Hey PM Carney!

No New Pipelines in a Climate Emergency!

Postcard Campaign

“Hey PM Carney! No New Pipelines in a Climate Emergency!” postcard campaign is an important opportunity to show the opposition of people living in Canada to building pipelines, especially after Prime Minister Mark Carney and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith signed a pipeline agreement on November 27, 2025. Before this agreement, Canada was already one of the highest per capita greenhouse gas emitters among the G20 countries. As well, a new pipeline will not benefit working people and Indigenous people living in Canada, but only line the pockets of the world’s biggest oil and gas corporations.

Hey Premier Eby,

Stop LNG Fracked Gas Expansion in BC!

Postcard Campaign

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Canada ads at Skytrain Stations and BC Ferry Terminals try to sell LNG as an alternative to pipelines. Climate Convergence understand that neither pipelines nor LNG projects are an alternative to the climate crisis. To combat misinformation, we need to educate people on the negative impacts of LNG on the planet. The “Hey Premier Eby, Stop LNG Fracked Gas Expansion in BC!” postcard campaign provides us with that opportunity. The campaign also highlights how BC Premier David Eby supports the over $6.5 billion of taxpayer subsidies to LNG Canada. The $6.5 billion of taxpayer money could be used to improve healthcare and education instead of climate-destroying LNG projects. BC Premier David Eby also supported Bill 14 and Bill 15, two bills that could be used to circumvent existing laws and fast-track resource extraction projects violating environmental protections, Indigenous rights and title, and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. We support the Union of BC Indian Chiefs and others in condemning the enactment of Bills 14 and 15, and demand that it not be used to further the LNG expansion in the Province.
