October 15, 2023: Stop Zain’s Deportation – Write to Your MP

The authorities are trying to deport a beloved community organizer Zain Haq from Canada. In doing so, not only will they be depriving Canada of an inspiring leader but they will be separating Zain and Sophia as lawfully wedded spouses.

We invite you to participate in your democratic right to lobby your MP to stop Zain’s deportation.At this event, we will convene online at 4PM PST/7PM EST to write to our MP’s to ask them to lobby the Ministers of Immigration and Public Safety to stop Zain’s deportation.

At this event, we will be hearing from Zain and Sophia about their current legal situation and then we will go on to write letters to our MP’s together and send them to our representatives in Ottawa.
